ISO 9001:2000
ISO 9001:2000 is an international standard that defines requirements for an organization’s Quality Management System (QMS), and demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, as well as enhancing customer satisfaction. As KMD grows and continues to restructure itself, the procedures, policies and business processes being put into place will be compliant with the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Control Solutions
KMD strives to provide control solutions that meet our customers' needs. This starts with designs that are verified by thorough internal review and continues through the demanding electrical and/or mechanical prototype testing. Our Customer Support Engineers perform a valuable roles in this process, assisting you in the application and service of our solutions.
Every solution provided is functionally tested to verify adherence to the agreed upon performance requirements. For complete machine systems this may include customer witnessed acceptance testing before a system leaves KMD, and after the installation at the facility. All control panels are fully configured and functionally tested as working systems in the final work-cell of our UL certified manufacturing department. Our Quality Statement details our commitment.
Systems Engineering
In addition to our Applications Engineering function, KMD has Systems Engineers who provide complete control solutions for your equipment. Our staff offers integration support ranging from configuration of standard application software packages to design and programming of complex control systems. They can completely manage the integration of your system from specification to system start-up and test.
Documentation
KMD provides Operation and Maintenance Manuals with each solution which are carefully designed with the user in mind. CAD generated custom documentation is provided with all systems orders.
Service Hotline
KMD’s telephone support provides immediate technician or engineering assistance for customers with product or system questions. After hours telephone support can be arranged for emergency situations.
Repair Service
If you need assistance with a control or mechanical product repair, KMD can help. If you need a repair fast, just contact us to resolve your issues and get the replacement to you as quickly as possible.
Custom Service Programs
For customers with special service and/or maintenance requirements KMD provides custom service programs tailored to your needs. Typical programs include 24-hour access to service personnel, extended warranty periods, and "Same-Day" response programs.
